    The Board of Governors of the European Schools approved the Action Plan: Reflection on the Future of the European Schools’ System - Follow-up to the Report of the European Parliament at its meeting on 10-12 April 2024 in Parma together with the Parma Declaration on the Future of the European Schools System.

  • Exchange of views at the European Parliament on the European Schools system
    Following the adoption of the European Parliament CULT Committee report The System of European Schools: State of Play, Challenges and Perspectives, the Committee held an exchange of views on the European Schools system with institutional representatives. Mr Andreas Beckmann took part as Secretary-General of the European Schools.
    Other stakeholders related to the system also participated in the discussion, namely Christian Roques, Deputy Director-General of DG HR in the European Commission responsible for the European Schools, Mr Antonio Cenini, President of the Board of Governors of the European Schools, Ms Helen Valentine, President of InterParents, Mr José Mas Marco, Vice-President of the Inter-School Teacher Committee (ISTC), and Mr Byron K. Springer, President of the Student Representative Organisation of the European Schools (CoSup).
